We are Ben, Lou, Henry (11) and Bertie (9) and we used to run RP as a family Glampsite set on our working farm nestled on the Norfolk/ Suffolk border in the beautiful Breckland area.
Our stunning 5 acre site is no longer avaible for Glamping, however we are excited to now be offering it for EXCLUSIVE HIRE whether that be for a group of friends with your own tents right through to weddings.
Set on the old Parkland of Riddlesworth Hall Estate, the campsite is surrounded by farm and woodland. Previously a field in agricultural production, we are very excited to restore it to the parkland it once was. We have sown a native wild grass mix, replanted hedges and trees and hope to further encourage the natural diversity of the local plant and wildlife. With this fresh approach we hope to create an ever-changing landscape no matter what time of year you stay.
Home Farm is owned and run by Ben and his father, John, since 1969. On our 800 acre farm we enjoy growing potatoes, sugar beet, carrots, onions, wheat and barley.
We also have a large free range egg farm, so plenty of fresh eggs for breakfast!
As with most Farmers nowadays, we have had to diversify and our yard is now let out as commercial units, the chicken shed has solar panels on the roof and we keep ourselves warm with a biomass boiler!
Our latest diversification project is the campsite and so another new chapter in the Farm's history begins!
Our farm, it's wildlife and it's scenery are our most treasured assets. Since opening Riddlesworth Park in July 2015, we have been able to offer more people the chance to enjoy our farm with us and we look forward to welcoming many more guests (returning and new!) in the coming seasons.
